Access for All

Access! 2020 Canceled

Thank you to all who registered for the Association for Accessible Medicine’s annual meeting, Access! 2020Unfortunately but understandably, we have canceled the meeting scheduled for May 11-13 in Washington, DC.

Whad planned to gather together this spring to ensure the industry is well-equipped to deliver on its mission of providing American patients with access to the generic and biosimilar medicines they need. As this country faces the challenges of COVID-19, the importance of our mission comes into clearer focus – and the need to share knowledge and best practices has even greater urgency. While we may not be coming together in May, we continue to plan for our inperson GRx+Biosims conference November 9 – 11, 2020 in North Bethesda, MD near the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Registrations: Transfer or Refund

Fortunately, if you registered for Access! 2020 you can transfer your paid registration to GRx+Biosims and realize a $600+ savings over the normal cost of that event for registration.

Since GRx+Biosims is a more technical, scientific and regulatory-policy themed meeting, its content might not be relevant to everyone. If that is the case, you can transfer your registration to a colleague – who will then realize the $600 savings.

You also have the option of receiving a refund back to the payment type you used when you registered. Please contact Aquera Agee at to either transfer your registration to GRx+Biosims or receive a refund – by May 11, 2020

What’s Next

The keynote speakers who had committed to Access! 2020 are among our nation’s leading health regulators and authorities. FDA Commissioner Dr. Stephen Hahn and CMS Administrator Seema Verma, two members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, were scheduled to address the industry. We are asking that they join us at GRx+Biosims in North Bethesda in the fall

We look forward to seeing everyone in November. Meanwhile, we will soon start planning for Access! 2021. A date will be announced soon for that meeting.
