Access! 2022 FAQs

Event Overview

At this time, AAM is planning an in-person Access! 2022 event in Orlando, Florida. We continue to monitor the data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding the broad impact of the Omicron variant across the United States and around the world. We are following developments and CDC counsel and will make adjustments to the conference as prudent.

Safety is our top priority for Access! 2022. AAM is committed to following all health and safety guidelines of the CDC, local government agencies and the JW Marriott9 for its annual meeting and all in-person events.

Vaccination Policy
Attendees of Access! 2022 must present proof of vaccination to attend the conference in person February 14-16, 2022. “Proof of Vaccination” will be uploaded using a third-party health care platform. AAM does not have access to any individual’s health information. In addition, all attendees are required to take an onsite rapid test before they will be given their conference name badge. Attendees can have the peace of mind of knowing that every person in a badge has been vaccinated and tested for COVID-19.

Mask Policy
All attendees are required to wear face coverings in all indoor locations, regardless of vaccination status.

Daily Temperature Scan
An AAM representative will be checking attendees’ temperature every day at a checkpoint located outside entrances to the main part of the meeting. Every attendee is required to have his or her temperature checked before entrance to the meeting. All attendees will be required to answer the daily health survey and present their health pass at this time. Attendees passing this checkpoint will be given a colored sticker to affix to his or her badge that will grant access for the entire day.

Contactless Registration
Contactless registration via a unique QR code is provided for every attendee through Cvent registration. Attendees are able to select their own lanyard based on interaction comfort level.

Color Lanyard Interaction System
The different color lanyards will help attendees indicate their comfort level with interacting with others at the conference.

Cyan Lanyards – Elbow bumps are definitely welcome.
Yellow Lanyards – I’m being a bit cautious so thanks for respecting my space.
Orange Lanyards – I require six feet of space.

Hand Sanitizer & Hygiene Kits
Each seat inside the Access! 2022 general session will have a hygiene kit that will include face masks, hand sanitizer and wipes for each attendee. Hand sanitizer stands will also be placed throughout the event space and the hotel itself.

The JW Marriott hotel will also provide complimentary hand sanitizer and wipes in each guest room.

By attending Access! 2022 in Orlando, Florida all attendees must agree to comply with all Covid-19 health and safety guidelines adopted by AAM, that have been recommended by the CDC, local government agencies and the JW Marriott. Your acceptance of the Attendee Duty of Care is a condition of registration and participation in the conference.

Any public space where other people are present holds an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases. By attending this event, I agree to voluntarily assume all risk related to exposure and agree to not hold AAM or any of their affiliates including sponsors, employees, contractors, volunteers or the event hotel liable for illness. I will take necessary precautions while at the event as recommended at that time by federal, state and local health authorities. I agree to not attend any AAM event if I feel ill or had recent exposure to a COVID-19 case. I also agree to follow AAM’s rules and protocols, as may be implemented and/or updated from time to time.

Yes. The exhibit hall will be a fun and interactive way to connect with products and services covering every aspect of the industry. Vendors are eager to share their industry know-how and keep you up to date on the latest health care industry trends.

We will work in partnership with each sponsor and exhibitor to shape an experience that delivers a great value to your company. Exhibitors will also be able to capture information from attendees who visit their booth with our lead capture feature on AAM’s mobile app. Please contact Aquera Agee for more information.

Standard Registration Fees

We will provide refunds with a $300 processing fee. All cancellation requests must be sent to Aquera Agee by January 31, 2022. After this date no refunds are allowed.

In the event we must cancel the in-person event for Access! 2022, AAM will send an e-mail to all registered attendees informing them of their options to convert the registration pass from in person to virtual. We will also encourage everyone to contact the hotel and airlines reservations are made with as soon as possible to inquire about refunds/cancellation policies.

Yes. If you can’t attend the meeting, you may transfer your registration to a colleague. Please email Aquera Agee.
