In her role as Head of ESG for North America at Teva Pharmaceuticals, Carol leads the company’s US philanthropic initiatives, including product donations, to advance access to care for underserved populations in the US and across the world. In partnership with Direct Relief and the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics, Carol recently launched Teva’s latest access program to advance access to mental health care for uninsured and underserved populations suffering from depression and/or anxiety at qualified free and charitable clinics in the pilot states of California, Florida and New Jersey.
Prior to joining Teva, Carol worked with the Social Business Innovation team at Merck on a wide range of health equity and philanthropic programs.
A healthcare professional by training, Carol has extensive experience working across the health care and pharmaceutical sectors, developing partnerships with patient advocacy organizations and establishing health outcome programs. She began her career working in inner city hospitals in the UK and received her Master of Science degree from New York University.
