Brian Miller, M.D., M.B.A., M.P.H., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University and a nonresident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. His research focuses on the Medicare Advantage program, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s regulation of pharmaceutical products and medical devices, and competition in health care markets. His research leverages his previous experience at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Federal Trade Commission.  A practicing hospital medicine physician, Dr. Miller earned his medical degree from Northwestern University, a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
